Rainmaker GPS Proposal Managers develop, manage, and update/modify (as required) the proposal management plan and all proposal processes and documents including the Rainmaker-developed Proposal Management Document. A cursory overview of the typical duties of a Rainmaker GPS Proposal Manager includes, but may not be limited to, the following:

    • Development, implementation, and management of proposal processes and proposal plan
    • Direction of all proposal volume leads, section managers, book bosses, coordinators, and production managers
    • Development and management of proposal schedules, plans, deadlines, and progress monitoring
    • Development of the proposal outline and compliance matrices
    • Coordination of all proposal activities
    • Management of Red, Gold, and White Glove Teams
    • Red Team, Gold Team, and White Glove Team review member
    • Responsible for validating style, consistency, grammar, and syntax of the final document
    • Re-writes as needed to clarify and simplify text - wordsmithing
    • Recommends additional graphics or modifications to existing graphics
    • May play a role in reducing the text to meet page limitations

The Rainmaker GPS Proposal Coordinator

 
The Proposal Coordinator is a management position. It requires significant understanding of computer applications and proposal processes. A cursory overview of the typical duties of a Rainmaker GPS Proposal Coordinator includes, but may not be limited to, the following:

 

    • Creation of proposal templates, compliance matrix, and proposal guide
    • Creation of data calls and compilation of writing assignments - distribution and management
    • Coordinating proposal graphics - liaison between proposal team and graphic designer(s)
    • Coordinating and scheduling of all proposal activities - strategy sessions, conference calls, color teams, etc.
    • Administration of the proposal processes
    • Providing configuration management
    • Preparing proposal related reports
    • Administrating proposal related resources
    • Assisting the proposal manager in tracking status
    • Ensuring that deadlines are met
    • Serving as a member of the Red and Gold Team Review Teams
    • Assisting in validating style, consistency, grammar, and syntax of the final document
    • Recommending additional graphics or modifications to existing graphics
    • May play a role in reducing the text to meet page limitations
    • Compiling and creating printing and delivery instructions
    • Coordinating version control of proposal document
